OUR STAFF

We currently have four staff at the LTC:

Jillian Dielesen, Chief Executive Officer

Jillian has a strong background in the training and industry sectors, having been Executive Officer of the Light Manufacturing Industry Training Council (LMITC) in WA for more than eight years prior to joining the LTC. Jillian has forged strong links with the Department of Education and Training and the State Training Board through her role at the LMITC, providing them with strategic advice on the current and future training needs of the represented industries. She was responsible for ensuring that any training developed nationally was appropriate for the State and met industry’s needs.

Jillian’s extensive background in working with the VET system on both a State and National level, combined with her experience with industry, makes her a perfect candidate to identify skills development requirements for the transport and logistics industry and develop strategies to address them.

 Norma Nisbet, Senior Consultant

Norma commenced with the LTC in April 2003, having previously spent six years in the freight sector of the rail industry. She has also had more than 15 years' experience as a trainer within the VET sector, mainly in the office technology area.
